Product and Technical Information
The barrel itself can be constructed with a maximum thickness of 2 inches, offering robustness and resistance to wear. Customers have the choice between two undersize options for the cutting teeth: a 2-inch undersize suitable for .990 teeth or a 3-inch undersize that accommodates 38mm teeth. The height of the core barrel is also customizable, allowing clients to specify a size that aligns with their drilling depth needs.
There are several layout pattern options available for the arrangement of the teeth on the core barrel. These include 3 tooth, 5 tooth, and 7 tooth configurations, providing flexibility to optimize the core barrel for specific drilling conditions and to achieve the desired cutting action.
For core barrel parts, there are options available for both .990 Rock Wear Parts and 38mm Rock Wear Parts. The .990 options include the .990 Standard (30122), the .990 Dragon’s Tooth® (30145), and the .990 Dragon Holder (32049), all designed to offer effective rock cutting and extended wear life.
The 38mm Rock Wear Parts feature the B47K19LK80-H (30182), the 38mm Dragon’s Tooth® (30188), and the 38mm Round Dragon Holder (32110). These parts are engineered to withstand the rigors of rock drilling, providing durability and efficient cutting performance.
Overall, the 48″ Cut Core Barrel is designed to deliver reliable and efficient drilling in a variety of ground conditions, with a strong emphasis on customization to meet the unique demands of each drilling project.
