Base:

The LR125 is equipped with the new Cat 340 Next Gen, powered by a fuel-efficient Tier 4 Final C9.1 ACERT engine. This base is further enhanced by CAT Vision Link, which allows for online monitoring of machine operations and maintenance data, ensuring peak performance and efficiency.

Undercarriage:

The undercarriage of the LR125 is a Caterpillar variable model VH4600/4450/720, reinforced with an H style frame that provides a stable and adaptable base for the rig’s operations.

Mast:

A reinforced mast constructed from high resistance steel Weldox 700 gives the LR125 the strength needed to withstand the demands of various drilling projects.

Main Winch:

The main winch system features a special groove for improved cable winding and extended cable life. It includes a press-roller and offers two gears for a balance of high speed and significant pulling force. The winch operates with automatic gear shifting for smooth, high-production drilling and includes an automatic down-the-hole winch stop. During crowd operations, the winch operates freely, with both hydraulic and mechanical brakes for safety. The cabin’s display of hydraulic pulling force measurements keeps the operator fully informed.

Rotary:

The LR125’s rotary is built for durability, with two slewing bearings at the top and bottom, and a robust pinion and main gear. It houses two groups of Hydraulic Motor / Planetary Gears for exceptional torque and extended service life. The system includes anti-cavitation, anti-shock, and a cooling system to prolong the life of the hydraulic motors. A power-shift feature allows for a high spin-off speed of 120rpm, facilitating efficient soil discharge. With three operational and spinoff speeds, the rotary is optimized for both high torque and rapid speeds. The operator can easily monitor torque via the hydraulic measurement display in the cabin.

Cab:

The cab of the LR125 is designed for operator comfort and safety, featuring an AM/FM Radio, air conditioning, heating, and ROPS certification with top protection. An LCD monitor connects to the engine and hydraulics computer, providing a comprehensive diagnostic system. The CZM Canbus System for Drilling Monitoring, complete with auto functions, enhances drilling precision and efficiency.
