The base of the LR95 features the Cat 330 Next Gen, a purpose-built machine with a fuel-efficient U.S. EPA Tier 4 Final C7.1 ACERT engine. It includes CAT Vision Link technology, which allows for online and wireless monitoring of machine operations and maintenance data, providing insights into location, hours, fuel usage, idle time, event codes, and maintenance schedules.

The undercarriage is a reinforced frame H style Caterpillar variable undercarriage VH4400/4230/700, designed to provide stability and adaptability to various ground conditions.

The mast of the LR95 is constructed with high resistance steel Weldox 700, ensuring durability and the ability to withstand the stresses of drilling operations.

The main winch of the LR95 includes a special groove for improved cable winding and extended cable life. It features a press-roller, two gears for high speed and pulling force, automatic gear shifting for seamless operation, an automatic down the hole winch stop, free willing winch during crowd operation, and both hydraulic and mechanical brakes. The pulling force is hydraulically measured and displayed in the cabin for the operator.

The rotary head is robustly designed with dual slewing bearings, a sturdy pinion and main gear, and includes an anti-cavitation and anti-shock system for the hydraulic motor. It features a cooling system for the hydraulic motors and gearboxes, power-shift for high spin-off speed, three operation speeds, and three spinoff speeds. The rotary head also has automatic gear shifting, exchangeable keys that are bolted for easy maintenance, and a hydraulic measurement of torque displayed in the cabin for the operator.

The cab of the LR95 is equipped with an AM/FM radio, air conditioning/heating, ROPS cab & top protection, and an LCD monitor for the engine and hydraulics computer with a diagnostic system, providing a comfortable and safe environment for the operator.
