Base:

At the heart of the EK300 lies the new Cat 352, driven by the fuel-efficient Tier 4 Final C13 ACERT engine, ensuring eco-friendly operations without compromising on power. The rig is also equipped with CAT Vision Link technology, providing management with the capability to monitor machine performance and maintenance needs remotely, optimizing uptime and productivity.

Undercarriage:

The EK300’s undercarriage is a testament to durability, featuring the Caterpillar variable undercarriage VH5440/4900/900 with a reinforced frame in an H style design, adaptable to various ground conditions and ensuring stability during operation.

Mast:

The mast of the EK300 is constructed from high resistance steel Weldox 900, offering unmatched reinforcement for the most rigorous drilling demands.

Main Winch:

The main winch of the EK300 is designed with a special groove to enhance cable winding and extend cable lifespan. It includes a press-roller and offers two gears for a balance of speed and pulling force. The winch boasts automatic gear shifting for smooth transitions, contributing to high production efficiency, and features a free-falling winch during crowd operations, complemented by both hydraulic and mechanical brakes. Pulling force is conveniently displayed in the cabin, keeping the operator informed.

Rotary:

The EK300’s rotary is built to last, with dual slewing bearings, a robust pinion, and main gear. It houses three groups of Hydraulic Motor / Planetary Gears for exceptional torque and durability. The system includes anti-cavitation, anti-shock, and a cooling system to prolong hydraulic motor life. A power-shift feature allows for a high spin-off speed, facilitating quick soil discharge. With three operational speeds and three spinoff speeds, the rotary is optimized for both high torque and high speeds. The operator can effortlessly monitor torque directly from the cabin, thanks to the hydraulic measurement display.

Cab:

The operator’s comfort and safety are paramount in the EK300’s design. The cab features an AM/FM Radio, air conditioning, and heating for a comfortable working environment. It is built to ROPS standards with top protection and includes an LCD monitor that interfaces with the engine and hydraulics computer, offering a comprehensive diagnostic system. The CZM Canbus System for Drilling Monitoring is integrated with auto functions, enhancing the drilling operation’s precision and control.
