Product and Technical Information
The barrels themselves can be manufactured with up to 2 inches of thickness, and customers have the option to choose between a 2-inch undersize configuration, which uses .990 teeth, or a 3-inch undersize configuration, which accommodates 38mm teeth. The height of the core barrel is specified by the customer, allowing for a tailored solution to meet the depth requirements of their drilling project.
Layout pattern options for the placement of the teeth on the core barrel include 3 tooth, 5 tooth, or 7 tooth configurations. This allows for customization based on the specific drilling conditions and the desired cutting action.
For the core barrel parts options, customers can choose from a variety of rock wear parts. The .990 Rock Wear Parts include the .990 Standard (part number 30122) and the .990 Dragon’s Tooth® (part number 30145), along with the .990 Dragon Holder (part number 32049).
For the 38mm Rock Wear Parts, options include the B47K19LK80-H (part number 30182), the 38mm Dragon’s Tooth® (part number 30188), and the 38mm Round Dragon Holder (part number 32110). These components are designed to provide effective cutting and wear resistance in challenging rock drilling conditions.
Overall, the 24″ Cut Core Barrel is a robust and adaptable tool that can be configured to meet the specific demands of a drilling project, ensuring efficient performance and longevity in a variety of ground conditions.
